                                    August Newsletter

Dear Parents,
Welcome to Wayne Country Day School. We are excited to have you and your child in the three year old classroom. We will try our best to make this a wonderful experience for us all.

Our unit this month will be “Superheroes in Training”. We will learn all about ourselves, how special we are and our five senses. I will introduce the color blue, the number one, the shape circle and the letter A. Rhymes “All about me”, “I am Special”, “My Senses” and “Everybody has a Name”.  Also, we will learn opposites big and small.

My main goal for the children is socialization. Three year olds do not need to learn the alphabet or numbers. However, I do believe that with regular exposure, the children will eventually learn and enjoy each of them.

I need a copy of your child’s birth certificate and shot records for my files. Please keep snacks and lunches healthy and let me know if your child has any allergies! We will dismiss each day at 2:45. For your convenience we will load your child in your car for you if you will pull to glass doors. We will have a conference in the fall this year. We will go on few field trips. If you have any question or concerns please feel free to call me anytime.
